From GCF Global: "Apple's iPad has become a widely popular device since its launch in 2010." It is smaller than the iPad Pro, and may be easier to carry around for activities such as using iMovie to create a video.
This checkout includes one iPad which can be used by library staff to explore the device or offer one-on-one experiences. The iPad may also be used as a shared device for a group activity or project, such as creating a video with iMovie. Applications include STEAM and other areas of focus, some games, and apps that correspond directly with other SWFLN items available to borrow. This iPad includes a Hotspot that can be used by other devices nearby. It is equipped with mobile/cellular data access, so a Wi-Fi network is not required to operate it.
